Title: Which brush?
Post by: Jon Ridgeway on February 12, 2012, 04:43:24 pm
Hi guys,

I have been floating about on the forum for a little while now and never posted/replied before.... so firstly (and most importantly) I will introduce myself, im Jon and im new to Carpet cleaning... so new in fact im still trying to come up with a name for my company! im aiming at starting with houses as opposed to commercial carpets. I have been sorting out the chemicals and things for my hot water extraction unit and just realised that I need to sort out a brush for agitating (cant afford a machine yet!) and just wondered which one im looking for out of the array on offer? ???

Host reliant is the best, i had a Gen 4 Envirodri the casing cracked repeatedly was sent back 3 times never was cured, i was told though that i was the only one that had experienced this problem, something that i doubted ???

Cleansmart sell the Host also the brushes can be changed in seconds unlike the Gen 4.

Hi James....I Sadly bought the Gen 4......Casing Cracking and fell to bits in a year, new casing required which is also failing....although they did give me a 2 year guarantee on parts.

The Reason is simple ...the "New" Parts have hairline fractures poss due to bad tooling or inferior plastic.....these develop. It's a shame, cause the machine works very well.

Host next time me thinks.

Think the newbie is after a manual brush to start.....most suppliers stock pile/groom brush's.

Yup, the casing on my Gen4 is cracking as well.

Seems like it's not just the only on to have this problem!

Get yourself a good pile brushhttp://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/3301 (http://www.restormate.co.uk/epages/15094.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15094/Products/3301), and essentially a Grandi Groomer, perfect for post clean grooming. This is the best price i've found http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330573979587?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330573979587?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649)
