Just had the phone call today. Don't know who the national firm is yet though.
I've lost just the one nursing home, bit gutted as it was a nice earner at £200.00 4 weekly.
They are changing over on 4th March.
Anybody else on here clean for them? Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. :(

This might have been the lucky escape for you as it all went "wrong" last year for Southern Cross

I know some have been taken over already, but can't remember who by :)

They were all taken over last year. HC1 took over around 100 I beleive.
The financial mess that was Southern Cross is way in the past.
They were great payers fwiw. Cash in the bank on the last day of the month without fail.

I used to do a southern cross home until about 9 months ago,I heard they were having money problems so stopped cleaning it,I didn't want to get stung.I think it has been taken over by 4 seasons now and a national is cleaning it
-
Yes i still clean a 4 seasons home. They are not national, not yet anyway.
-
Uk commercial have got this contract nationwide now.
-
I lost quite a big home back in November ex southern Cross. Four Seasons have a National contract for all their homes. Trust me mate they are doing it for pence, and the subcontractors that run out of Swindon are really up against it. not good work at all.

Strange that cos I still clean a 4seasons home. I've had some correspondence from head office recently aswell with no mention of me stopping cleaning.
