I had one (bought direct from China), the ignition unit inside melted after 8 months.. the fogwash is much better IMO.

You have to contact the US suppliers direct & get a replacement ignition unit. :'(

I'm running two L5's. Both were running fine. I had too change my hose on one and ever since it keeps turning off and on. If put the old hose(which got sliced open by a dust cart and isnt long enough to use now) it works fine.
Any ideas on why and what i can do?

The new hose probably has less back pressure. Get a tap washer, make the hole in the middle slightly bigger (only slightly) with a drill bit & then use it as a washer in the hot water out connection on the unit. The increased back pressure caused by this should keep it running more reliably.

i got one of these there ok , but the annoying thing about them is the 20 cut off.
-
the one i got was from the guys that sell easy heat , no cutout coes on fine and is ready to use no problems or mods made by me at all quality product and they are in the uk

same as my heater was working great but now heats the water up and after about 5 seconds the water just runs cold ???

i had the same problem check that your hose is not tangled in the reel as these heaters are very sensetive to flow rate restriction.
