just got an email from my site and the email address/number were missing and i can't return the email as the return address is my site email address.
Is this normal surely i should get the email address that the customer has sent the email from.
I have emailed the designer but won't be able to sort it till the morning
when you receive a email from your website contact form can you reply direct to the customer from that email you received or not ???
thanks erithwc

When i speak to them in the morning im going to see if they can code it so that you have to enter a valid email address not a fake one before they send the message will have to speak to them and see what they say.
To be honet i never put my number on contact forms, so if the customers does the same and makes a mistake on their email address i can't contact them back ???
Its the fact that i could lose the odd job due to this problem and the customer would think my business isn't intrested for not replying :'( :'(

i would add in a box on your site for them to put their address in . that way you can always go visit them if need be
