Title: What van? 2 workers - 1000kg payload plus.

Average van size so good for working in and around residential, 2 sliding doors and back doors of loading area. And the most important reason is that a lot of them have a payload of nearly 1200 kgs. Thats what I'm going for next.

these sizes vans are made for carry these weight day in day out.and with this size and two workers you wont be in the way of each other.

why 2 tanks?

why 2 tanks?

I've heard insurance issues on tanks over 500L. Also I may want to run one hot at a time (as in immersion) and not the other.

Post by: Smudger on February 09, 2012, 03:22:07 pm: hi there - we have recently (oct) brought a van with a 2 man set up and brought a LDV Maxus, there is lots of room for the two tanks, reels, gutter vac generator etc, we have been very pleased with it so far, a big thing for us was payload as the other half of the 2 man team is a big guy and I am not tiny eitheir, I would need to re look up but off top of my head the payload is 1500-1580 - we got the high top, and we were worried that it might look all too big and be tricky here round lanes and driveways, but we have had no probs at all, and we think it looks great with the signwriting!

Also we were able to get van insurance with the 1000l tanks with a specialist for about £650? with both of us being insured to drive - which we didn't think was too bad, a lot of policys seemed to be limited to 500l - so all in all we were fairly pleased with the insurance too.
