whats your verdicts guys. i had a conversation with a wc about what pole to buy and he was adamant the ionics was the best but i had my heart set on gardiners. bit confused

ionics would bottle up and sell water and charge a fiver for it if it had there logo on it!!!

Slx is full carbon, less expensive, lighter, more rigid and is the length printed on its side as opposed to adding a few feet to make it look like a good deal.

Yep, spot on. ;)

An Ionic 25ft pole is probably only 22ft actual where an SLX 25 is actually 25ft long! (& a better pole) :)
