I use a Sebo Duo on most domestics, but for commercials or larger areas use a Flexi-5 or a Rotary. :P

A lot of the time you can get away with a good brushing with a 15 inch carpet brush, failing that a Flexi 5.

Used to use an extracta scrubba, then a sebo, then an oreck orbiter, then a rotary,

Now I just use a brush  ;D

It's good exercise  ;)

Used my 13in sprite 300 for the first today blinding customer thought I already cleaned it and it’s good on stairs, only an another 18 communal blocks to do, so the TM4 will stay at home

Gen4 , 17" rotary , Oreck , carpet brush, Grandi groom but as Ian says a good dwell and of course the right pre spay is a major factor here.

Pre Vacuming is a great help if your using a portable extraction unit.

Hi Len I have a sprite 300 brilliant machine which brush do you use for agitation? The shampoo brush or the polypropylene brush. I only have the shampoo brush as. I thought the blue poly brush may be a bit to rough for most carpets.

1 Brush (standard prochem) for light agitation
2 Sebo duo for a slightly more intensive scrub
3 TM5 - give amazing results on pre vac and agitating pre sprays
4 Rotary with either a scrub pad or shampoo brush
