Scrub with a hard brush and then wash os wit PW do I need to dilute I think I have 12% and when I rinse of do I need to worry about the slurry hitting any grass or plants etc, any advive greatly appreciated

hi
i use at about 1 to 4 with hypo and just pour enough on the slabs to deck scrub in. it will kill any plants it touches though so we have a wet vac to pick up slurry.
i also dont use within a meter of lawn edges. just turbo nozzle there.
i know a few like rob prefer power and water volume but i think hypo has its place on domestic where its very mossy or covered in lichen
cheers

I was looking to buy some hypo, whats the difference between calcium hypochlorite and sodium hypochlorite? will they do the same thing?

sorry to hijack your thread - anyone know?

I don't really know and thats why I did'nt answer. Read this particually the first line which tells you the difference but maybe not in the context we would use it in. I keep chlorine tablets on my van which used to be called bleach tablets but don't work very well on lichen.

Hypochlorite seamus. ;)
Concrete, depends how badly soiled. Pour a bit out of the drum onto the surface and see what happens neat then determine yourself how much you wanna use by diluting down. 1 to 3, 1 to 5. Feed through ventura or mix in bucket. Take care when pouring from drum.
