Post by: reachandshine on February 05, 2012, 05:31:34 pm
Can anyone recommend a booster pump for merlin ro?
Moved house and water pressure is pants! Use to take 4.5hrs to produce 650 ltrs, now takes 8.

I reckon 8 hours for 650 litres with a merlin is not bad, you must of had it good before you moved.

I thought I was doing ok at about 110 litres an hour at 3 bar (what ever 3 bar is).

Another local window cleaner told me that if a restricter valve is added to the waste then it'll produce water more quickly.

3 bar is around 42 psi Ross..... I was also told about the waste restrictor today!

So there maybe something in it. I'll email the company and find out.

What difference did the pump make in terms of litres per hour? Thanks.
