Title: ro waste pipe frozen

Put my ro on this morning after a few mins realised the waste pipe was frozen, where was the waste going?

It must have been forcing all the water through the membranes.

Had that problem last night, total nightmare i needed water for today the hose froze the inlet pipe and the waste pipe, after i thawed the pipes out in the bath it still didn't work the RO was starting to freeze i held my gas space heater near it for a minute or two and i worked.Half an hour of messing about, blooming weather.

be careful mate. will Knacker your membrane up all in one go if you hadn't caught it, then cus your tank is filling twice or 3 times as fast (depending on waste ratio) u could end up flooding van too.

If u really need pure u can just connect di vessel direct to tap and run water slowly ... Ok u may get only 1000 litres from a 7kilo vessel but for about a fiver it can save the day
