it was pretty simple as far as I remember, easier if you have two DI vessels, you plonk your resin into a chemical and certain beads rise to the top and the others don't, the ones that rise to the top you use a chemical in a separate container, and the ones left are left in that chemical
but the easy part was if you had two di vessels you could separate them and then just soak them in the correct chemical and drain it off, I can't remember exactly but costic soda and acid of some sort were involved, he did put a post up or answered a post years ago on his forum, sounded pretty easy to me
