Once you have bought all the stuff, prepaire to sell it at a tiny margin, and then listen to the window cleaners moan they want it even cheaper

I think you'll have to research it a lot... Not sure anyone will give you a list of all the wholesalers you will need on here?

Go to the Windex show in March, there you will see all the best manufactures of window cleaning equipment.

Then all you have to do is tell them how you are going to make them loads of money selling their stuff.

Before you know it you will be a millionaire......

By Jove he's right old chap  ;D

Or write to the manufactures direct, better still design your own items for market.  Don't be fooled into thinking there's a mountain of profit in it though, unless your selling your own designs.

Good luck

You can buy direct, shipping is not as expensive as you might think, if you go bulk. Almost everything you use is made by one of these companies.windy stuff that's very cheap (http://www.made-in-china.com/products-search/hot-china-products/Window_Cleaning.html)

A good pole too carbon pole (http://nj-jinyuan.en.made-in-china.com/product/VqlEdRiCLZkg/China-Carbon-Fiber-Telescopic-Pole.html)

So now you can all go and think about being suppliers. ;D ;D ;D

Dave.. I feel that some people think it's easy being a supplier ! Forgetting that there is a huge outlay first... Then clients come in wanting everything for nothing!

The bmw's nice though isn't it dave?

To be a successful supplier, you need your customers to devote love and tlc to your tools, like POLES etc........

What are you suggesting Craig, that this board is biased towards one particular pole supplier? :-X :-X :-X

Are you suggesting that our friends based in Plymouth would set anyone up? lies I tell yeh, lies. ;D

I see I need to buy our next set of poles from Nanjing whatshaumacallit stick a new smart name on it (the elilte-slx-swift-fusion-ninja-harris-doesitallforya pole)
and I will be joining dave's bmw club? :P

I reckon I could set myself up for £2k, I could run it all from my garage jobs a good'un. ::)
Or I could say I am a water analyst, run it from my front room (warmer than the garage) and just get all the goods drop shipped.  ;)

That's it, know more cleaning windows for me, I'm going to make it BIG. :-* :-* :-*

Wow that pole sounds like one that I could LOVE and have as a pin up!
them property rates on the old garage are a lot cheaper than those dreadful industrial units, used to store STOCK.

I can now see where I've gone wrong, so poor me no BMW :(

Part of the trouble with places like ebay is that people see a chance to buy up a load of stuff and flog it cheap. OK you say Whats wrong with that?

Nothing in principle, thats business, but look at Cleantech, a big seller driven to the wall by internet floggers who want to sell the big items but don't stock the small stuff and don't give help or technical advice.

Theres more to life than a cheap pump or discount brush. You get your cheap pump but then you want the fittings and a bit of advice. Suddenly that pump doesn't look so cheap.

We have been asked when selling a pump which makes a few pound profit weather we can fit it for free, up against it!!!

My adivce to you is I wouldn't go down this route. It would have been worth it a few years ago when ever window cleaner and his dog where converting to water fed pole but that ship has sailed now and most people are just buying bits to maintain their systems. I know a window cleaning company turning over £1m a year only spends about £450 on resin, buys a couple of pumps and maybe a couple of poles. It would be different if you where fitting their 3 vans out with systems and then had another company booking their van in to get a system fitted but them days are gone most people have the gear now and the only gear that you would have much of a chance of supplying is resin, filters and soap for traditional.
If you want to supply something think outside window cleaning and look for a new market like when everyone started buying mobile phones. You need to be in the market from the beginning in my eyes.

The eBay drop shippers have no over heads, proper suppliers do ( lots) most customers recognise this, however some expect things cheap cheap, as if it was 100% profit for us and want them eBay cost, however want lots of advise too, this weekens the suppliers business.
