I got one last time they did the offer.

Yep they are a brute of a pole, but for the little I use it I can put up with that, and it will last forever.

get what you pay for!
i paid £400 for a slx 30 and a brush,i would rather pay £500 for a slx 30 than waste £100 odd on a brodex that will be heavy and not last 5 minutes!

I ordered one on Friday.

I needed a pole of this length for some odd jobs I need to do.  I did look at the SLX35 but I couldn't justify that expense at the moment given the few times it will be used.

A friend of mine got the same pole from Brodex last year when they were on offer.  It is a heavy beast and to be honest he has had to fix it a couple of times- but then, I don't think he has looked after it that well.

I won't even keep it in the van- just take it with me on the occasions needed.

But all things considered, for £136 delivered with brush and pole hose I think it's a real bargain.

I hate Brodex after sales, but the pole in question is bullet proof !   I use it a several times a month, and it has paid for itself many times over.
It is still going after two years all the parts still work perfectly.

Would I pay for the dearer alternatives promoted on here ? . . . . . No
