What glue should i use to glue on the rubber stop end to my SLX?

What glue should i use to glue on the rubber stop end to my SLX?

Superglue works well.  Apply a thin bead to the inside of the rubber end cap about 2 cm down, slide the first cm of the end cap onto the pole (with all of the extended sections slightly extended to prevent excess glue getting on the base of the sections), sharply tap the end cap on the ground to quickly ram it into position.  This needs to be done quickly as the Superglue will set in about 2 seconds.

would araldite be better
