Title: locking ladders on roof rack?

Got a roof rack and soon getting some ladders, do you guys lock them up so they don't get stolen? What do you use to lock them if you do?

Decent motorbike chain threw the car rails if possible.  Just don't forget to take it off before diving off, gives you a hell of a shock when it bangs the roof  ;D

same here. don't get complacent or one day will wake up and ladders will be gone.

dont bother locking em , there not much use nowadays anyway  ;)

I've always used ladder clamps - but have only started locking them since my phone and palm were nicked out of the van
