Title: Loads of sock fluff!

I Have a job next week on an 80/20 light coloured twist pile with loads of fluff on it. Any ideas or previous experience of the best way of removing this? I have an evirodri, sebo duo and an oreck oscillating pad machine available for agitation.

Hi Phil
A rubber brush/broom or a rubber glove will help on the worst areas

Envirodri with sponges after a good vac/agitate/vac/sponges/agitate/vac/vac/vac/vac/vac  (you get the idea)

Surprised it is an issue on a predominantly wool carpet. I have one ever known it to be an issue on some types of synthetics. I would go armed with fine pet grooming brush. But even that won't get it all.

For me ..  red pad , failing that nylon brush ... failing that , brass brush
very little gets by the brass brush

red pad on a rotory really is the answer for this. Again I do find it hard to understand how this has happened on wool, it is normally the coarsness or static in synthetic fibres that creates this situation. If it is wool then it will be a case of lack of vacuuming by customer or the use of a useless vacuum cleaner.
