What pads do you cimex users have? I ordered some but they are very coarse, more like white floor pads?

White nylon floor pads will be fine. That's what we use. We have the Larger CR61 machines and you can't get the OEM pads in that size,

The standard Cimex supplied Encap pads are actually rubberised pads for use with 1500rpm + buffers designed to erase scuff marking from coated floors.

Used them and fine, well easier then buffing and the extra agitation works great  ;)

Been searching for a used cimex can anyone point me in the right direction?

Mark one went on eBay 2 days ago £150 (minus water tank)
