Afternoon guys,

Does anyone know rouhgly how long a pump should last. Running hours approx would be great.

How long is a piece of string??


What pump?
Which type of motor?
What PSI ?

Its cool I took the brushes out to see if it was those, one of which was stuck in postion so was causing the pump to malfunction.

An ordinary 100-130 psi brushed motor should run 800-900 hours.
When the brushes run out the motor will run intermittently. When this happens do not continue to run the pump as it will burn the armature. Put new brushes in.
