Any one know where i can get the original yellow hose they use to supply with adaptor.
The one they use now and the one gardiners use is to tough to nip when you want to stop the flow.
I find nipping the hose by far the best way to stop / start flow, much quicker than taps or aquaadapter.
Thanks.

If you want to nip the hose then get silicone tube from a fish shop
Tosh & Jeff use this to good effect

The red hose aquadapter supply works a treat for nipping the hose; and I agree, external pole hose is the quickest way to work.

To avoid confusion (or maybe add to it?) the hose Tosh is referring to is the orange on the site now - it's the same spec as the red that Tosh has, but solid orange colour.
You wouldn't be able to nip the new red hose we have now.

I use SLXs; I've used them with the hose in, with an aquadapter, and with the hose out, without an aquadapter.
It's far quicker with an external hose. You just hold it against the pole with your hand; there's nothing annoying about it, though maybe there's a knack to it?

Ye could be ive tried it but prefer aqua dapter defo im quick with it anyway dont think I could work with out it now tbh...
