Title: Hose connector 2.5-1.5''

I've just purchased a lint hog but I have a 1.5'' hose :'(  What I need is connector with one end that threads INTO the 2.5'' thread on the hog, and on the other end a 1.5'' barb connection, does it exist?  Thanks for any help!!!!!!!!!!

Lint hog is 2" so all you need is a piece of 2" hose and a converter down to 1.5"

Well, it has only one 2'' adapter with it but 2 2.5'', does this connector exist you know?

the connecters you are talking about are lynx cuffs. There is a lynx cuff converter from 2" down to 1.5". There should have been one when you purchased the hog. Where did you get it from. Woodbridge may sell the lynx cuffs as they sell the hog.

failing that screw a short piece of 2" hose to both ends then put a 2" to 1.5" barb converter on you can get them at http://www.hydramaster.co.uk/

I think its a 2.5-2 inch.  I forgot to mention I have a hide a hose and the hog will go inbetween my two lengths of hose.

You've bought the wrong version of the filter Adam, I'd send it back.

There should be one with 2" ports on both ends.  Cool cuffs would fit it nicely.

Far as I know there's no direct step down from 2.5" to 1.5"..... why would there be ;)

Looks like you have got the F250 version. You need the F200 version.

Oh great i didn't realize there were two versions.  It might sound dumb but how do you measure the diameter of a hose :-\

With a ruler???

Just measure across the end on the outside diameter without the connector on it.
No need to be ultra accurate as you will see whether it is 1 1/2 or 2 quite easily.

If you got it from Accessory Planet on Ebay it is the F200 ... 2" hose lynx cuff fittings.

Have done some DIY on it, anyone have some spare 4ft of 2'' hose??? ;)
