Title: office carpet cleaning
Post by: homenclean on January 23, 2012, 08:24:42 pm
Just wanted to pick your brains, i am pricing some office carpet for cleaning usuall thing desks everywhere not to be moved.

The surface area is 312m2 and i was going to go in at £2.00 per meter does this sound about right for hot water extraction cleaning aand skimming with a bonnet after to prevent wick back.

Many thanks
John

£1.50 is more realistic in this climate, espcially if you want the work.

I would say you are fortunate if you get£2 , how about offering different levels , eg clean , clean and protect , clean , protect , anti static. at different prices then if the have a larger budget or want a better spec you dont lose out

I used to go in at £2 a sq mtr but as Simon says better off earning at £1.50,
you could even say you normally charge £2 but are prepared to offer a discount for a larger area (even tho its not really that big)

As with most commercials keep price under 2.00 and try and intrest them into regular maintance cleans for main walkways and reception.
