Hi Guys

Great forum pICKED UP SOME GOOD TIPS :)

Any how iv been working trad for 3yrs now and now looking to go WFP.
At the mo im just checking things out and cost and so on, i was just checking the website foe my water board to see if im soft or hard water, could someone please take a look at this http://www.south-staffs-water.co.uk/downloads/Walsall_WA.pdf  and let me know what water i have, as its all gargon to me ???

Looks a load of mumbo jumbo to me to  ;D

Just buy a tds meter and test it yourself

It will be hard in walsall. Severn trent is much softer.

as said buy a tds meter and check, you will need one anyway.

Yep youll need an RO and meter anyway but youll only need a merlin ro....fits in your house if needs and attaches to outside/kitchen tap you dont need flashy units in garages etc. But youll still need a resin cylinder to polish of after your ro. I used to have a tucker 700ltr system back in 2003 but now have 400 ltr system as it does the same amount of windows etc due to small diameter hose and flow controllers etc
