Hi Guys,
Recently won a fairly substantial cc contract and am thinking of acquiring a couple of extra bits of kit. Does anyone have any alternative suggestions ? first a spotter cleaner, currently looking at the Bravo from Prochem , what should target price be ? around £480 ? Second, anything on the market better than a Sebo for dragging up the debris ?, and finally, is there anyone selling new pile lifters ?, seen just one or two, but secondhand
Thanks for opinions

I would say that as far as the second and third bits of kit, a decent CRB would be the best option.
-
thanks Ash, crb ? could you enlarge on that ?, thanks
-
sorry, what i meant was, i understand contra rotating brushes, but were you referring to a specific machine ?
-
I've used truvox multiwash, and rotowash machines to good effect, some on here use flexi 5, envirodri - all of which seem to offer good results (as well as being able to be used as stand alone machines when necessary!)
-
interesting Ash, do you think they would be as effective as say, the certified m/c ?, i wouldn't mind the investment in a certified, just dont fancy importing one from the states, unless anyone knows a uk supplier /
-
YES
and a lot cheaper than importing
-
Like Ash said any CRB machine like a Host or EnviroDri or Flexi will do lift the pile and agitate and as for a spotting machine there's plenty out there as long as you work the stain with the correct chems then any machine will extract it out.
Cheers Phil.

Sorry, I'm not sure what you mean by 'Certified m/c'?

A P T - If you're after a good CRB machine, give me a call on 07830 021836, I've got a Prochem machine for sale for £700(inc. delivery) - it's one of the best ones available (although a little more expensive than some of the others) If not, if anyone else is interested they can give me a call also :)

Hi Ash,
just to clarify, certified is the brand ( or model ) name, I think it may actually be Canadian, not 100% sure, but either way, its a long way to bring a machine if I can source one here.
btw, thanks to all for your comments, could someone confirm if any of the suggestions are also vaccuums ? or simply beaters, pile lifters. I'm aware that in some cases they can be a back up cleaning system also, but ideally i would prefer a good lifter / vac
What the spec on your prochem Ash ?, is it new or used ?

It's a used machine, here is the prochem spec page http://www.prochem.co.uk/fiberdri%20TM4.htm
