Post by: jim mca on January 18, 2012, 10:48:18 pm
Does anybody use or have any feed back on the chanfa diesels from jetmac thinking about changing from petrol to diesel but dont do enough to justify spending more.

for the money it will cost you for a brand new chinese diesel you could get a genuine yanmar or honda diesel second hand off ebay for alot cheaper... around 600. or even a lombardini with interpump/cats

Changfa are like disposable lighters - throw them away when they run out of fuel. They last about 6 months on the ground workers road rollers. I have a lombardini and its been very good- they are part of the kohler group now

How much did you have in mind to spend mate?
i might have a great honda gd411 diesel with cat 45 pump (brendon), but it's absolutley mint and want good money for it, it's had minimum use and nothing like the ones you see on ebay, this is 100 times better condition and perfect working order... they were around 3k from brendon, I want around 1k, but seriously it is mint mate.
alot better condition than this ....
