What the highest tds count that di will polish off?
Tap in to merlin 280
Out of merlin 70 and then through di vessel (normally about 40 so ordered new merlin pre filter)
Can't get tds below 20
Is 70 to high for di?

It is a bit mate, your resin will not last long at that sort of tds. You need to get it down as much as possible. Try replacing your Merlin and getting a 40/40 RO.

Thanks, Tds out of merlin was about 40 and had no problems-new filter on its way.

DI will easily cope with 70ppm but depending on how big your vessel is will determine for how long.
My tap tds is approx 80ppm & I don't use an RO at all, just two 11Ltr DI vessels. ;)

my tds is 70 odd d/i only 11 litre vessel should produce thousands of litres. theres a resin calculater somewhere on the net tells you how much water you will get depending on tds.

Those resin calculators don't factor resin "brand" nor Twin vessels. IMO they are a very basic gauge & not really that helpful.

Water in Hampshire is 410, i make my water at 002-004 at the end of the fill. Ionices pro6 I never clean with tds above 002 then change resin.
