Lads and lasses.
We'll be swapping over our hoses later this month from 12.5 mm to 8mm. What we need to know is which one seems to offer the best performance in terms of durability, anti kink, etc???
We've been looking at a few so what are the opinions of the masses???
Many thanks.

gardiners pole hose is a nightmare to use tangles & is very hard.

Depends if you are hot or cold, I've found that Gardiners are great for cold, they really can't be faulted, however with hot water the hoses blow up too much, but I believe they are bringing out some purpose built hot hose which if it's as good as their regular hose will be perfect. Why not go the whole hog and get 6mm, from 12.5 it will be like carrying nothing.

sod using 8mm for pole hose ;)
Gardiners have changed there pole hose, I will have the new stuff tomorrow and will test it out and post on a different thread as this is for hose that goes on a hose reel and not a pole.

I don't want pole hose, just hose to go on my hose reel.
Am I right in believing that 100m of 8mm hose will fit on my hose reel; can't remember the name of it but it's the normal blue one that lots of people use.
