Obviously it should be colder up Narth than it is down Sarf; so someone's got it wrong.
But what temperatures are we looking at before hoses start freezing up on the ground?
-
I would have thought if there is frost/ ice around that is the determining factor
-
frost and ice around all day yesterday and no freezing hoses!try and keep water running as much as possible and take some hot water with you to thaw jets if they freeze up. ;) ;D ;D
-
Dont worry bout the hoses Tosh, what about my poor handies and toesies!! But i'm a just a soft boy from darn sarf!! ;D ;D ;D
Pipes on ground have frozen already and its about -3 here in Kent

did see a program on telly box about weather and water freezes when there are particles in
they work as a catalyst to perpetuate the action of ice
dont know what all these words mean so there is only a chance i am right ;D
if at all i make sense ???

I'm not doing any windows today, a 40' tree decided to fall over in my garden so it's Man saw day!!
Noise, petrol and lots of hard work should keep the Kent cold out today, and hopefully the bloke down the road will want to buy about 3 tonne of wood, he don't know it yet obviously ;D
