Theres a valve on my PF van mount above my booster pump, after the prefilters and before the ro and im just trying to establish exactly what it is.
It seems to limit the amount of water that goes through the pipe that then goes into the di vessel
If I open it completely it makes a horrendous noise like theres air in the system
Its currently set to 10 o clock position
Many thanks
Steve

Not sure but I think it depends on your water pressure,if you have good water pressure you should get between the 100 and 120 mark on the pressure guage.Just set the valve so the water is flowing comfortably and not struggling

Sounds like your flush

Sounds like your flush
It isn't for flushing mate,it's a valve to set the water flow when using the booster pump.

Well if you knew what it was why didn't you tell the OP instead of saying you weren't sure ;D

Hi Steve
Are you sure that it's before the membrane? Do you also have a valve after the membrane. I would have said its a flush or waste ratio valve but it could only be that if after the membrane.

Because I was trying to answer the OP query about the noise issue, after reading the post back I realise I have not made myself clear.
The valve he is talking about is definately for the booster pump tho
