Title: Starting new window round
Post by: Dave Tipping on January 16, 2012, 04:10:52 pm
Hi all,
i am wanting to start a new window cleaning round,i am willing to put adverts in local shop windows and do canvassing etc,but i am wondering  about other window cleaners in the area. I'm not sure if ther are any but presume there must be,whats the best way of finding out, will i just find out by canvessing and people tellin me they allready have a window cleaner.
Any thoughts or experiance would be very welcome.
Thanks,Dave

Dont worry about other window cleaners, just dont blatently go and put a flyer thriugh a house you have just seen someone else clean.

Don't worry about other cleaners - just get your pricing right so you aren't too cheap - you will only regret it later on I guarantee it
If someone doesn't want a cleaner they'll probably tell you they have one already - even if their windows are minging  :)

Leaflet drop any where and any property. But i do agree if you see a windy cleaning a property then miss it out, Waste of time other wise. But remember every house is a goal, if you dont see windys cleaning on it.

I started off a bit dearer than others in my area, it works, Because later down the line you dont have to put prices up for a couple of years like me, but you will always sure never to under cut.
