yeah same here, thats what i ment

i have a couple of customers who are teachers and there is no
easy access to back of property so ring when they are about
have no problem with this as they pay double what i normally charge :)

Yes, quite a few. Posh farmhouse and landowner types
-
Yep, all part of the service.
There are rules though. They have to be good people that I like. Also, they need to be prepered for me to land on them once in a blue moon.
I find it usefull for days when I get a kickback from messers, I can call in and do the job and rely on it in an emergency.
It is only something that can be done as an addition to an established round.
Most of the "as and when" jobs that I have are favourites that I have hit it off with. Sometimes you click with people on a personal level and they are more like friends than customers.
They are a useful addition to my round.

yeh but its on 1 of my routes anyway so they wait till im passing & its £25 so it just fits in, i wouldnt be doing it for less

iv one customer who is as and when - shes about 60,a geordie with a deep voice and built like a navvy .She has a little young injun for a hubby and theyve a brass nameplate screwed to the wall that always makes me chuckle
BHUPEN & HELEN STHANAYANIKA
young BOOP once got funny with me on the phone over my lad not wiping his sills,i really wanted to remind him that not so long ago he lived somewhere where there was no sills

No .... However, if any of my customers ever decided for a genuine reason to change to an 'ad-hoc' basis, I'd still accommodate if they had a good history with me but would negotiate an increased price to suit :)

prob same here, if we get on with them and they asked. or if someone rang for quote for one off. but we don't actually have any customers that are as and when, prefer it this way.
-
yes
have a few also have a few who phone for additional cleans they are by the beach and get really salty
also do one off etc
its all money at the end of the day
-
no i dont.i had a woman who asked me to clean hers right next to a 8 weekly customer of mine.i cleaned it and she agreed 8 weekly(£20).after the clean she said "can i just phone you when they need cleaning again?"in a word NO!!its either 8 weekly when i clean next door or not at all!!
i really cant be bothered with them.i have plenty of maintenance cleans and like it that way.
regular scheduled work is just how i work.

a one-off job can lead to regular work ;)

I have a few but its my choice, I was happy to take them on. I wouldn't do it too often. I actually like having a few
