is there an air leak could make it cycle (switch on off) personally when a pump plays up I just replace it it will cost you more than £80 trying to mess about with it
-
get a new pump
-
prob to do with the calibration , you need to set the calibration to a different setting
-
When it stops does the controller flash DE? If so you need to adjust the calibration
-
when stops flashes up bat on controller think have to buy a new pump where the cheapest place to get one from
-
Try recalibrating first, it's a lot cheaper than buying a new pump :D
What controller have you got and what size hose?
-
streamline controller 6mm hose
-
If it flashes up"bat" you either need to charge or replace the battery. The reason it is stopping when you go above 60 is because there isn't enough juice in the battery. ;)
-
streamline controller 6mm hose
99% chance the pump is fine.
It's probably either the cut off value which needs increasing (calibration as some call it) or your battery/a dodgy electrical connection.
In colder weather the cut off setting needs to be upped a bit as cold hoses = no expansion to absorb pressure & so the controller cut off is activated much sooner than in warmer weather or when using hot water. ;)
-
how do you increase the cut off value

Not sure on the streamline unit, mine is a digital varistream. Someone here will know though. ;)
Try that first, then the battery. I'm almost sure your pump is not at fault here.
-
Did you get fitting instructions with your Streamline? it should tell you there how to recalibrate. I use a diff. controller so might be diff. set-up
-
I love you Guys Some great advice here already Tim.
It sounds like 2 issues
1) Your Battery needs recharging
2) You need to recalibrate the controller
Im preety sure there is no problem with the Pump, It is also worth checking for any blockage in the brush or hose. Are you using an angle adapter or Aqua - Dapter as the control will need to be calibrated with any add on to the pole.
As soon as I can get the scanner sorted I will email you a guide to recalibrate the control.
6 month old lap top died with all the data on it :(

Any trouble and I change the tank, battery, pump and controller and buy some new carbon poles straight away. Never worth messing with a simple setting.
As Winpro really but also check with your controller manual to see if the pressure switch should be disconnected, Varistreams do. I don't know about others.
-
With these controls the Pressure switch can be fitted or not, We recomend though that the pressure switch is fitted. Then you have extra protection on the system.
