Hello,
I wondered if anyone had any advice on how to best clean a wool carpet? I seem to have no end of problems with mine, the slightest spill of anything, even water, stains it, it takes ages to dry if it gets wet and nothing seems to make it look clean and fresh! Anyone a whizz at keeping their carpet in ship shape condition who doesn't mind sharing a tip of two with me?
Thank you!
Elizabeth

Evening Elizabeth These problems are usually solved by having a spotting kit left after your carpets have been cleaned professionally.I cover Oxford so would be happy to drop one off to you next week on the way to one of my jobs..........Regards Alan

Thank you very much for your replies everyone. I actually hired a cleaner after my disaster the other day and it seems to have made a big improvement but it is very useful to have carpet cleaners in my area as in the summer I would like to have it cleaned properly, esp if I acquire more stains.
Alan, how much is the spotting kit?
All your information much appreciated, thank you!
