I claim for a % of electric use in house as part of office costs
Food for my Peice
Tax on van, petrol, repairs ect..
computer costs
phone costs
first aid
along side all cleaning costs
i would recommend getting an accountant when u get established, best of luck

when claiming for part house bills i was advised by an accoutant to claim 1/24 of the bills as i live in a small house and i only do an hour a day clerical (or 7 hours a week)
the point i make about small house is that the office room does have non business things in there and somtimes i do work down stairs.
if i was doing 2 hours then i would claim 2/24 this way when tax man asks he wont challenge you as you have worked out your share in the most simple way.
