Does anyone else get skin irritation from pure water? I get it on the face from splashing water. Stinging and redness initially, then dry the next day. I believe it's to do with the ph in the water.

It sounds unusual, are you using tfr or similar??
I find that from time to time I get a splash of tfr, and that can be a bit of a prob.

No, just pure water. I reckon I need some sort of cream to act as a barrier.

i get that from fibre glass pole rub my eyes or pick my nose lol goes soar and itchy !!

I wear a welders mask. You could lose your eyes.

No eczma and other than black hands it doesn't affect them.
-
how much splashing on your face do you do????!!
I just notice hands get dry quicker than normal, we use moisturiser fairly regularly. Oh yeah, and mild green fairy liquid for the dishes ;D

It's the ones down narrow paths where even if you stand to one side, you can't help but get splashed.

Pure water certainly dries my hands out!!I've started wearing the cheap showa 377 gloves with the throwaway surgical gloves underneath as liners.problem solved.my hands stay dry and clean and don't smell due to the liners.
I very rarely end up splashing my face with pure.stand further away from the window if you can.

I found it to be the glass fibre from a ungar pole I use as it wears down as I rubbed my face not realising and had irritation so thinking its the pole mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm !!!!!!!!!1

Bonsey said that above aswell. I have an xtel hybrid pole, so could be.

Today I made a conscious effort to avoid touching my face at all. No irritation, so it's looking like the carbon or the fibreglass is the cause and not the water. Thanks for your help.
