depends on how close and how involved, I sub a bit from my brother, no problems there, my brother worked for years for my dad, before he took over the business, that worked well as my brother made a good foreman and my dad was good at sales. but other than them two I wouldn't involve working with any other family, I even sack my son when has helped me out in the holidays ;D
-
i have taken on a new worker, not family, much better, and more work done,

I've just sacked my son! 10 months wasted. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get him to see the benefits of having his own van and being totally self sufficient.... If your asking me, NO.

;D bob!
I've worked with my brother for 6 months, was fine, never stopped talking!
Worked with wife for past 7 years, no problem. With wfp we don't see each other so much, she's at one house, I'm at another.
Its great if you can get on working together, cuts down overheads, money stays in family, CAN be less hassle! ;D

Been there, done that and got the t-shirt and dvd. In my experience except for an accassional bit of help from my son I would never do it again!!

I do got my dad my brother in law mum on the books and in April the wife starts
Part time doing admin.

Worked with my wife for a number of years and she was brilliant.
Worked harder than anyone I've worked with plus great for tax reasons and she's better looking as well ;D

My son started with me 18 months ago, he now has his own round and picking work up left right and centre.
I am now looking for someone else and wondering where I will get another worker as good. Considering trimming round so I don't need anyone.

i offered my son some Saturday work , but he wanted the money up front, in cash. i knew it wasnt going to work out at that very moment. i also gave him his own set of gear, squeegee etc but he just laughed ,egged on by his psycho mum no doubt , no respect from kids these days >:(

bobby my son was like that, last summer he started a summer job in a factory and after two days was begging me to give him a job ;D he doesn't know it yet but he is destined to shine windows

Me and my younger brother will be working together, he was strugglerling for work as he is deaf so even harder than most to find a job. So I'm hoping to build my round up further so we can work together. :-) Small family business. ;D

I have my father in law working for me. Cracking worker and very very trustworthy. He's also a hit with the older ladies haha. Used to have my brother working for me years ago as well and he was great
