Call me old fashioned but every time as thats what they're paying for
-
Every time, but if I am struggling for time, I may miss the top frame.
-
I believe in treating folk how you want to be treated
If I was paying for it I would expect it as standard every time
-
If you have this as a sales pitch then it should be everytime, maybe just a quick brush over. I don't use it as a selling point, so they don't get done every time, but the frames are always clean, there is really any dirt on the glass after 4 let alone the frames!
I do clean the frames thoroughly on first cleans, then go over them every 2-3 months, they don't need any more than that to stay clean.
-
I always do frames each time
-
everytime!
-
Always

They get cleaned everytime, as Lee said - they're not realy that dirty after 4 weeks - so all it takes is a quick brush over to maintain their cleanliness.

YEP EVERY TIME IS NOT NEEDED.. unless you sold it that way...
1st cleans take me ages but im meticulous and this puts us in good stead for the regular maintenance cleans
keep it simple ,

sometimes its harder/longer work avoiding the frames, might as well do them.
-
Everytime

WOULD YOU ALL DO EVERYTIME ON £6 3 BED SEMI ???? 9 cleans inc doors
DIDNT MENTION FRAMES INCLUDED IN CLEANS on canvas .. (sorry caps off )
in heavily populated window cleaner area. i am one of 5 total professional cleaners, thats without cars with ladders on top who u dont see about cleaning for cash.
horses & courses really....
overkill to do all every time , i clean as and whats needed ,if tops of frames need doing i do em.
-
i do em all each time, not really because its what they've paid for, but because from what i've learned on here, that a clean frame is the best way to avoid spotting
-
I thought thats the only way you could clean with wfp??? Cleaning glass only and not touching dirty frames with jets of water that will run all over the glass is just for magicians!!! IMO

Thats sort of what Iwas saying, it depends on the design of the window/frames sometimes you have to clean the frames otherwise you risk contaminated run off.
-
if you clean regular then technichaly your paid to maintain the cleaniness of the windows so you can clean as it suits and how you feel is best.
personaly i clean the frame that surrounds the glas every time and the frame behind that as it suits but that is most of the time.
i feel the frames have great importance as if you leave dirt on them you are inviting the chance for run marks
-
95% of the time!! you can clean the frames
Some bad condition woodden frames you cant do! as you cant get a good finish....

No, because I wouldn't be cleaning any three bed semi for £6.

i think your actually creating work for your self by not cleaning the frames everytime cos it will take longer to clean them when they get dirty as apposed to keeping them clean everytime!
-
I agree. I do them every clean, actually works out quicker. IMO
Been WFP for over 8 years and that's what my experience has been.
