Anyone tell me which pda is best for running George software

Have a look on the george website it gives you the palm operating systems that you'll need to run george.

then have a look on eBay for Palm PDA's, - most off them for sale will list the operating system and be suitable. They usually sell between £5 to £30

Other than that they are pretty primative compared to the average modern mobile - so you'll probably not use any other the other palm features.

Definately worth having - as saves a fair amount at the end of the day when you update from palm to pc

As Dave said most will do fine, that said I ditched mine and now have a small Netbook which I take with me as the PDA's were getting unreliable.

So how do you get from your main conputer to your pad ???

Correct, full program on my netbook backed up 3 different ways.

Look on George site under FAQs. Download software to netbook. Download backup installer, open backup on netbook, all done.

I use netbook too, keep in van. Put new customers straight into George when out working. had palm, hated using it.
