Post by: colin purewater on January 05, 2012, 05:57:38 pm
Evening all,

I bought a wagtail whirl wind about 5 months ago
From stu mac out of the forsale section.
When I got it I just put it in my van as a spare.

Been doing my shops this morning and my ninja had vanished!!!

Shock horror!! Or so u thought ;)

Had No option but to us the wagtail

JESUS.  It's miles better!! So much easyer on the wrist
And over all to use in general,
Bye bye ninja enjoy the rest of you day stuck in the back on my van  :D

i think the one pass is for fairly clean shops? but like you say not to bother.

any one know the difference to orbital flipper to the whirlwind???

i am pretty much all trad, i was using my whirlwind a door or two from guy using water fed, exact same house whooped him! (he says panting)

ON SHOPS THE QUICKEST IS THE 18" WHIRLWIND AS BY THE TIME U HAVE ALL THE HOSES OUT ETC YOU ARE DONE WITH A WHIRLWIND.  no pun intended.

trad is best on shops etc as they stay clean for less time= more repeat ,more frequent work.
i always scream at myself cleaning resi with wfp at ground level as they are always ok after 4 wks....its just easier....but if i tradded them they would be more welcoming of me at this shortish interval.

wish id started and pushed trad bottoms and pole tops and stuck to it.people in general look out the ground windows so would make sense .

original question =  get the whirlwind m8, pulex rubbers and dogear your channels .   simples....

thanks Carl, got the 14inch had since april i think, went back to ergotec as velcro fixture things failed( bit crappy i think)
felt a bit sea sick using fixed tools!!

seen some guys make some mods, like own wash pads, i know it is cheaper but not really sure it is worth the bother mine are good change about every other day, wash weekly still pretty good

the angle neck is worth getting as well
