its only £307 a week take of tax,    that is probably a true figure,  for people on on CIU as we make that a day

there was a report a few years ago that the average sole trader window cleaner submitted 17-19 grand a year to the taxman.whether thats ALL they earn over the course of the year is debatable!

i know mines a fair bit more than stated!!! ;D ;D

that's for the employee's not self employed.
looking at other jobs it's not too bad actually.
i reckon most of you are self-employed

plus it the national average ,so i think in london and around people earn a lot more

Theres an idea of self employed

but as daz stated most self employed wages are skewed by tax avoidance and "forgetting " to log cash payments

So its probably alot more

i would reckon any half decent window cleaners income is way above the average employed wage ,,, should be anyway!

Mine was affected big time last year because we had a very bad December (2010) didn't we?
I didn't work most of that month!!
