Hi All,
Been using George again on a trial to see if its improved from a few years ago, looked like it was really good now but i've just got a runtime error with 50 uses left???
It just kicked me out an gave me a pop up box showing Runtime Error 216 and every time i touch the box another one appears?? Any ideas??
-
Have you double clicked on George when you opened it? Try and close all the "runtime error" boxes and you should be ok
-
daves is right it usually happens when you double click, just the one click will do
-
Occasionally things like that happen if you try and open george - when it's already running.
As above post, right click on the george box on the bottem bar and close the error boxes.
-
NOW THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT.
WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Why not contact Paul direct rather than ask on a forum - he's very helpful & normally responds quickly.
Stick with it - best £50 I've ever spent on my business.

It is a brilliant programme, but has its minor faults,
i cant change my business name, ( Paul is helpful but its still not doing it)
also on my expense reports for the tax man , i clicked on " have reciept"... for every transaction, and it says on my report ...."no reciept"...
no doubt the acountant will now be asking why etc etc.
but i have them all, its just inconvenient.

If the above hasn't worked then you need to close down your computer and restart it.........sorted.
Happened to me the other day.
-
Emailed Paul yesterday, he told me to reboot and download the Data Fix download from the main website...
Its worked so problem sorted hopefully i wont loose any work in the future, how do you guys back yours up? I thought about putting it on a usb stick until i sort an external hard drive...

pay the £12.00 per year and back it up on there servers/internet

They used to give you 6 months free internet back up - when you buy the full program
-
Take out the annual back up for £12, you'll not regret it. As for the full program, best £50 you'll spend.
