Title: public sector vs private sector
Post by: lifeofgrime on December 14, 2005, 09:10:43 am
We currently only carry out work for the public sector. We have thought about doing work for the private sector, but are paranoid about never getting paid.

Is this a valid argument for not dealing with private households and is it really as rife as some people suggest?

Do any of you guys (and girls) experience regular problems and how do you deal with it or am i being too sceptical for my own good?

Give me PRIVATE anytime, Do the Job GET PAID!!!

Commercial work can be a pain in the butt getting paid, though never happened with me because I stipulate PAYMENT ON COMPLETION!! and it is accepted.

I tell then I operate like a Supermarket and I am the checkout operator, Do not pay I do not leave!!
