Title: Spotter
Post by: clarkson on January 02, 2012, 09:01:19 am
Hi all
Hope you had a good break.

I currently use airflex turbo and an alltec power plus if i need heat.

But they are both big heavy machines.

I fancy getting a small machine for spotting or for little jobs.

The true spotters are really tiny want something i can do a box room with etc.
But still can carry in one hand.

Cheers
John

Hi John,

I use a Prochem Bravo spotter and find that it is ideal for stain removal tasks.  It holds a good amount of solution, yet is light enough to carry around with ease.  They are not cheap though, I picked one up secondhand (through this forum I believe) a couple of years back.  Wouldn't be without it now.

Hope this helps.

i have a mytee hybrid from solutions, it is light enough to carry has a 100psi pump and i believe you can use it as and extra vac in line with your airflex. emptying it is a bit of a pain but it is a good machine otherwise.

In the last month there have been three sabrina maxi's for sale all around the £200 mark on ebay,
they are fantastic for spotting, small rooms, high rise flats and powerful enough (just) to do a decent job,

They split apart for easy carrying although the are light enough anyway,

Think they are normally £1000 plus new so worth picking up one if you can, but you normally have to be quick,

 thanks all

i must have missed these sabrinas, because i had considered these before and have kept an eye out for them, also the phantom which i believe is a sabrina under the hood.

 will look out for them.

Hi John

I use a Aquarius Pro valet for a spotter and to do small jobs like box rooms. You can find them on Ebay for £212 (watch the video),plus other members on the forum use this machine...Using it tomorrow on 2 bedrooms saves getting the big machine out..Hope this will help you out...

Its a tydy little spotter and comes with a small wand that splits in two so easy to carry and store in your van..
