Hope Alex doesn't mind me relaying some of what he mentioned to me as it's in the open that new hot hose is coming.
We do have a new type of hose coming out very soon which is specifically for
hot water systems. We are 'resurrecting' our Thermobore label for this.
It will be a bright orange hose (so we can tell it apart) and it will have the
same ID as the current Microbore, but with a slightly larger OD (12mm) than
the standard Microbore. It is a mixed compound of PVC and Rubber which will
be able to cope with high pressure hot water up to about 90°.
I will leave any additional details up to Alex.
(The pricing is fantastic, if it doesn't change)

Hi Rich
Tim has answered this very well for me! Generally hoses suitable for hot are made of a slightly thicker wall construction which helps resist the softening affect of the hot water. In practice, most hoses can get away with hotter water but it will tend to find weaknesses or damage if it is already there.

Ionics have had a new hose out for over a year now.
orange, its a shame that they all copy them .
we want the hose to go softer when hot ,as it is so much easier to manage.

Thanks Tim , Hiya Alex thats great to know but do you know when you will be selling these hoses as I would rather buy off yourself as you seem more caring with aftersales then anyone else and I know your stuff is of high qaulity ... Hope you are selling these pretty soon thou. I think someone on here hit the nail on the head why my pressure had dropped I think its when the hose goes really soft due to the heat when rolling in from a distance somtimes the hose goes in tight and may squash which when only pulling the hose out not as much next time theres not as much for the water to pass thru so thats why pressure of water may be slower !!!!!!!!
