It's a method of window cleaning. That's all; cleaning windows; but you wouldn't think so, the way some wfp operatives (yes, that's operatives  :o) go on about it. Because it's safer and quicker than previous methods it doesn't matter that it leaves spots because you feel superior to non-wfp labourers.

the van is for storing old coffe cups and fAg ends, basically it stops you from being booked for littering. They sometimes do as an emergency crapper

Technically, it's a water fed hose fed pole, pump fed, fed by electricity. The pole never get's fed, only the hose, which feed's the brush head jet's at the head of the water fed hose fed poll, using water as the feeder of the fed stuff. Not any old water mind!! this is special water, what only us Window Cleaner's and some Scientist's know about.
The van is to put it all in so you can take it to your custies house and squirt it at the glass then run away before it dries well clean, unless your special water isn't working properly, or you didn't pass a self certified window cleanery exam, then it dries well spotty.

So, the pole doesn't pump the water? Some of these electricity pumps hum then, like human pumps? That can't be pleasant; stinking the back of the van out.

Is this 'special' water expensive?
Where can i get a hum pump from?
Can i use my Ford Sierra for the water to customer transfer?
sorry for the silly questions!

If you want to use a sierra, you will need to gaffer tape up the wheel arches. That means you will still have the water in the boot when you arrive at the job. Mondeos have less holes to plug.

It's a hump up, not hum pump, that you need; just a typo  ;).  If you get the hump up, you can produce special water on the job but you need to ask the customer about the water supply. It's best to ask the man of the house because women don't know and will be probably be washing up anyway.
Unload your hump up from the Sierra (I used to use a Cosworth, so they are up to the job), ask the bloke about his waterworks, because you want to get humping asap.

If it's the dog, watch out for getting hairs all over the Sierra after.
You will need a pole as well as the hump up. Again, ask the customer, they should have their own. Tell the wife you need to get your hands on her husband's Harris and that he needs to allow access to it.
