What methods of canvassing will you use, door to door, or phone calls? When I first started cleaning I targeted all the local pubs, got about 15 of them quiet quickly, would love to know the best way of targeting retail centres and stuff like that, I've tried ringing the management centres ect, but seems impossible to get hold of the decision makers!

avoid retail shops, or chain shops, most are national and are £4-£6 go for pubs, social clubs and small business

Cheers Marks, lol! i know its tax deductable but i can hardly say that in my opening sales presentation lol! Obviously first impressions is a must!
TC, I aim to knock and find out who the decision maker is depending on which business i decide on first. Pubs ask to speak with landlord. Commercial business ask at reception who the decision maker is and send a letter? Then after a week call in personally? Its all quite new to me but i want to make this work!
I been reading your posts about £10,000 a mnth, yes i think its poss, but for me im notr aiming so high, but you never know! ;)
Santa Vader, cheers for that i think im going to try some pubs and offices etc!
?????
What can i sell as the benefits to offices and car sales premises though?

Seriously now though, if it would improve my business then maybe it could discussed in the new year as i am looking at lots of ways to build my business. Also are you saying local businesses to me could be targetted and take the pressure off me?
