Can anybody recommend a good freeephone number provider ?
Attributes that are important to me are
- reliability
- value for money
- flexibility
- account monitoring ie vol of calls etc
Anything I have missed off the list ?
Anybody I should avoid with my trusty barge pole
Thanks
Mick

Hello, yes i can recommend a great provider called opal telecom,i used to work in telecoms and know them well. They are the leader in the UK for non geographical numbers ie 0800,0845 because thay can provide the most detailed call information.Missed calls, time taken to answer call ,busiest periods of the day ect.If you type into google will bring up details.Hope this helps

Who ever gives you the number make sure they can provide " divert to mobile" at no extra cost. If you're out of the office/house just divert all calls from business phone to your mobile phone, customers like to talk to someone direct as opposed to and answerphone etc....
I'm getting a bit of flak from BT regarding this...still waiting for them to call me back regarding if it can be done and at what cost!!
Good Luck

I have a normal set of telephone numbers from BT (3 lines), which run through a switchboard in the office. If nobody is in the office, these are simply diverted out to the mobile.
My 0800 number is simply attached to one of the main numbers from elsewhere (no equipment) on a normal day to day basis and therefore automatically gets diverted with the main number to the mobile.
Diverting this way can get expensive, especially on long received calls, but I perceive this to still be cheaper then employing an answering service company.
