Well we had £53 to finish off today after my "mental day" yesterday and my fingers were crossed against the rain coming in as forecast.
Lo and behold the rain only drizzled at 9 am and by 10 am we were done. Then new custy comes out and I do hers on a first clean and home by 10.45. Then the rain came in heavily after Dan the man washed my van and I took the dosh to the bank!
Sweet - much better than last year.
-
More tips this year too. last year the weather was so bad I never saw my custies near Christmas. One more day of work to go!

Good old quantative easing has meant that I have been given a number of (new) fivers this year, they'd almost disappeared but now I have a quite a few that are worth next to nothing! ;D

Started at 7 on shops, all done as the rain came on heavy at 10. Then picked up a brand new beauty in the high st. Stood in the rain for over an hour making sure I nailed it good. Luckily a manager from another shop who I know well has taken it over, so it is in the bag.
On to the vicar's place, arrived in torrential rain (dripping head to toe) She laughed louder than any santa, so headed to the office (pub) for a grudge match on the pool table. Free Beer.
Clouds parted and the sun came out, so dropped off the worker dude and headed home via a complimentary clean for a v good job, they were away for crimbo so bumped it and headed for the doctors place (half mile from home). Did the doctors in a torrential hail storm, said my merry christmasses and headed home.
Fire lit, old lady in the kitchen, scotch opened.
Merry Christmas Window cleaners

All done. Got soaked today but carried on regardless.
That's me done until 9th Jan now :o I've only had 1 day off out of the last 24 days so I'm due some family time.
Merry Xmas all and a prosperous new year!
