Just had a call from a lady wanting a one-off conservatory clean. Windows and PVC but not the roof. She would like it done ideally before xmas as she has family round. I wasn't going to be working tomorrow but as it's a one-off urgent clean I'm seeing pound notes... A nice little bonus. Before I ask for a price the obvious question is: "What's a conservatory?" But what sort of figure would you have in mind? Hourly rate, 1.5x hourly rate, 2x?

You probably need to become familiar with what the articles are that you are being asked to clean prior to saying yes ;)

a one off con clean from me would be 100% increase! but i would try and rope them in to being regualr custys, at least every 12 wks if not 8 wkly or ideally 4 wkly. worth a shot mate

lol. only AFTER the first date!
I'm a sucker for not charging enough for one offs, but if its very dirty got to make sure price right. would prob go for 1.5 times hourly rate.

As it doesn't include the roof being cleaned, it is just a load of windows and perhaps a door or 2 stuck together, sometimes on a pvc base or sometimes on bricks. ;D
