Title: leaking hose connection help plz!!

hi, ive had 2 brand new gold hose connecters on the side of my hose reel(the connector that spins round as your hose unwinds) and its ping out around the spinning bit, not the snap on hose lock connector. its really annoying and has nothing to do with any type of rubber o ring or seal ive checked everything! any1 had this problem??

get the swivel ones like an elbow, the other break far to easy, I guess they are not made for this type of job. they are about £7 each but worth every penny

Wrap some ptfe tape around the thread on the spindle and tighten the elbow up as much as you can.

There's an "O" ring on the shaft that you can't see unless you take the swivel appart. This wears and then it starts to leak. The "O" ring is not the same size as the hoselock ones ............ perhaps someone from Gardiners might know where spares can be brought from.

im pretty sure you can buy the swivel elbow in b&q

How long have you had them for ?

mine last about a year'ish thats with heavy daily use
