Advice Please gents................I have been wfp cleaning a property for some time now and the results have been spot on,until last month when she had the roof cleaned and the workers cleaned her windows after with what the lady said was rags (dirty!!!)............Now here comes the problem i come along and clean (wfp) as usual and low and behold when they dry they still have this smeared film over some of them,,,so i trad them(incuding scrap) with hot soapy water,blade them off ....and yep smearers still there!!!!!.....So the lady is good as gold to me and we leave it as is.I say i will ask on this furum my fella window cleaners for advice...............is there any thing(solution etc etc....) that we can use to remove the smears and then get the windows back to the spotless condition they where in before numpty workers mashed them up???

Might be worth getting hold of the guys who cleaned her roof to see what they used?????

coudl be lime scale, try cif/jic and see if that removes it

Viro sol cleans every thing
They may have had a bit grease on the rag or some thing like that mate

yes sounds like oil/grease,probably best going on youtube/google and find a solution,if no one on here knows

Try some Tar and Adhesive remover on them, spray it on, leave to soak and then wipe over. then scrape them and trad them once more. That should work. :-)

Use a back pack and add iso ( IPA) to the water.If its grease it will work.If this does not work its not oil based.
